1. APPLICATION1.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, reservations and agreements with regard to all apartments that are rented out by JoahInn Apartments.1.2 In these General Terms and Conditions, the term 'tenant' is understood to mean: the person who concludes an agreement with JoahInn Apartments regarding the rental/use of accommodation.1.3 These General Terms and Conditions apply regardless of your (prior) reference to any own terms and conditions or to other general terms and conditions. JoahInn Apartments disclaims all Terms and Conditions to which you refer or which are used by you.1.4 Agreements deviating from these General Terms and Conditions are only valid if agreed in writing.


RESERVATIONS2.1 JoahInn Apartments only accepts reservations from persons who are 18 years or older. Reservations by persons younger than that age are therefore not valid.2.3 If JoahInn Apartments processes your reservation, JoahInn Apartments will send you a written confirmation and invoice within 48 hours after the reservation has been made. You should check this for correctness immediately after receipt. Any inaccuracies must be immediately reported to Joah Inn.2.4 If you are not in possession of a written confirmation/invoice within 72 hours of making the reservation, you must immediately contact the reservation department, failing which the reservation cannot be invoked.2.5. An agreement is concluded between you and JoahInn Apartments whereby JoahInn Apartments rents out the accommodation to you.


3.1 If, after the agreement has been concluded, you wish to make changes to the agreement, Joah Inn is not obliged to accept them. It is at Joah Inn's sole discretion to determine whether and to what extent such changes are accepted by it. In the event Joah Inn accepts your changes, Joah Inn may charge you a change fee.4. INSTALLATION4.1 The tenant is not permitted to hand over the accommodation, under whatever name and for whatever reason, to persons other than the persons named in the agreement, unless otherwise agreed in writing with Joah Inn.
5. PRICES5.1 You owe JoahInn Apartments the agreed rental price, as stated in the written confirmation and invoice of the reservation. If the costs of JoahInn Apartments (personnel, energy, taxes, etc.) have demonstrably and unexpectedly increased after the conclusion of the agreement,
JoahInn Apartments has the right to increase its prices and to charge you the increased price.
If this price increase will be implemented within 3 months after the agreement has been concluded, that price increase will amount to a maximum of 5% of the previously agreed price and you will have the right to dissolve (cancel) the agreement on that ground.5.2 Price discounts and/or special offers can no longer be used if the confirmation of the reservation/invoice has been sent by JoahInn Apartments.


PAYMENTS6.1 Rental amounts up to €300.00 must be paid in full immediately upon reservation. In case the rental amounts are more than €300.00, you must make a deposit of 50% with a minimum of €300.00 - plus the administration costs. Payment of the aforementioned amounts must be made within 3 days after the date of the confirmation/invoice of the reservation from Joah Inn.6.2 The remaining amount of the rent must be received by Joah Inn no later than 30 days before the day of the start of the stay at JoahInn Apartments as stated in the confirmation of the reservation.6.3 In the event of late payment of the amounts invoiced to you, you will be in default immediately after expiry of the term for payment. In that case, JoahInn Apartments will offer you the possibility in writing to pay the amount still due within 3 days. If payment is still not forthcoming, Joah Inn reserves the right to dissolve (cancel) the agreement with effect from the day on which the term of 3 days has expired and you are liable for all damage that Joah Inn suffers or will suffer as a result. , including all costs that Joah Inn has had to incur in connection with your reservation and the cancellation. Joah Inn in any case has the right to charge cancellation costs per accommodation. In that case, the provisions of Article 12 apply.6.4 JoahInn Apartments always has the right to set off claims against you for whatever reason against the amounts paid by you for whatever reason.


7. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE7.1 The rented accommodation can be occupied on the agreed day of arrival as stated on the confirmation of the reservation, from 3 p.m. On the agreed day of departure as stated on the confirmation of the reservation, the accommodation must be vacated before 12 noon.7.2 If you wish to continue the agreement with Joah Inn for a longer period than the agreed duration and Joah Inn agrees to this, Joah Inn is always entitled to designate another accommodation.7.3 If the use of the accommodation is terminated earlier than on the agreed date, as stated on the confirmation of the reservation, the tenant is not entitled to a refund of (part of) the rent and/or costs.8. REGULATIONS8.1 You are obliged to identify yourself at the 'check-in'. If the guests cannot show proof of identity, Joah Inn cannot or may not accommodate the guests.8.2 Each apartment may only be occupied by the number of persons stated in the brochure for the apartment concerned.8.3 Joah Inn reserves the right to make changes to the layout of the complex. For necessary maintenance you will allow work to be carried out on the apartment during your stay without any right to compensation.8.4 The tenant must deliver the apartment broom clean (ie: do not leave dirty dishes, remove and fold bed linen, clean the kitchen, refrigerator, place a garbage bag in the container).8.5 In the event of violation of the rules included in these General Terms and Conditions, or failure to follow instructions from the staff, Joah Inn has the right to remove you, the tenant and any other user from the complex immediately, without refund of the rent or part thereof. takes place.


PETS9.1Pets are not allowed on the complex or in the apartments.10. BREAK, MISSING10.1 The tenant, named on the confirmation of the reservation, is responsible for an orderly course of affairs in and around the rented apartment, insofar as this is influenced by him or his party/the other user.10.2 In addition, the tenant is always liable for damage due to breakage and/or loss and/or damage to the inventory and/or apartment. Any damage must be immediately reported by the tenant to Joah Inn and immediately reimbursed on the spot, unless the tenant can demonstrate that the damage is not due to the fault of himself, other users or one of the members of his company.11. DEPOSIT11.1 Joah Inn may require a deposit of €200 per apartment at the start of the stay. In the event that the deposit is not paid immediately, Joah Inn is entitled to deny the tenant and/or other users access to and use of the apartment.11.2 If you fail to pay the deposit, Joah Inn is also entitled to dissolve (cancel) the agreement with immediate effect.11.3 The deposit or any remainder thereof after payment of claims of Joah Inn against the tenant and/or users, will be refunded if you leave the accommodation properly. Any claims for compensation are not nullified by this refund.


CANCELLATION FEES12.1 In the event that the reservation is canceled, Joah Inn may charge cancellation costs. The applicable cancellation conditions are stated on the reservation request and also on the invoice.13. FORCE MAJEURE AND CHANGE13.1 In the event that Joah Inn is (temporarily) unable to perform the agreement in whole or in part due to force majeure, you will submit an amendment proposal (for other period, etc.).13.2 Force majeure on the part of Joah Inn exists if the execution of the agreement is wholly or partially, temporarily or otherwise, prevented by circumstances beyond the control of Joah Inn, including danger of war, personnel strikes, blockades, fire, floods and other disturbances. or events.13.3 You are entitled to reject the amendment proposal. If you reject the change proposal, you must make this known within 14 days of receipt of the change proposal. In that case Joah Inn has the right to dissolve the agreement with immediate effect. You are then entitled to remission and/or refund of (the already paid part of) the rent. Joah Inn will then not be obliged to pay compensation for any damage.


 CANCELLATION14.1 Joah Inn has the right at all times to terminate the agreement with immediate effect, if personal data of you and/or other users are provided incomplete and/or incorrectly when making a reservation. In such a case, no refund of the rent or part thereof will be made.15. LIABILITY15.1 Joah Inn accepts no liability for theft (including theft from lockers), loss or damage of or to objects or persons, of whatever nature, during or as a result of the stay in the apartment, unless there is intent or gross negligence of Joah Inn or (one of) its employee.15.2 Liability for damage consisting of loss of travel enjoyment or business and other consequential damage is excluded under all circumstances. Furthermore, Joah Inn is in no way liable for damage for which there is a claim for compensation under a travel and/or cancellation insurance or any other insurance.15.3 Joah Inn is not liable for service disruptions or defects in services provided by third parties.15.4 You are jointly and severally liable with the user for all loss and/or damage to the rented apartment and/or other Joah Inn property that arises during the use thereof by you and/or other users, regardless of whether this is the result of acts or omissions from yourself and/or from third parties who are on the complex with your permission.15.5 You indemnify Joah Inn against all claims in respect of damage from third parties that are (partly) the result of any act or omission of yourself, other users, your travel companions or third parties who are on the complex with your permission.15.6 In case of incorrect use or incorrect leaving behind, including but not limited to excessive pollution, additional costs will be charged, which you are then obliged to pay immediately.16. APPLICABLE LAW16.1 The agreement between you and Joah Inn is exclusively governed by Surinamese law.17. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS17.1 You are responsible for having the valid travel documents required for your destination. Joah Inn accepts no liability for the consequences resulting from not being in possession of the correct travel documents.


18. GENERAL18.1 Obvious printing and typing errors are not binding on JoahInn Apartments.
